Q: Does the POS Choice Rx plan include dental?

Yes! It covers up to $2,000 a year for use on dental services, like cleanings, X-rays and more. You pay the dentist and then send us the receipt. If your dentist submits the claim for you, you don’t need to send us the receipt. There’s no set network, so you can go to any dentist you choose. You may have a copay or coinsurance for some dental services. Check your Summary of Benefits.

Q: What prescriptions are covered with POS Choice Rx?

Our drug formulary (the list of drugs we cover) is available online at our pharmacy coverage page. There, you’ll also find helpful information, like how our coverage works, ways to save on costs and how to find an in-network pharmacy.

Q: Do you cover me when I’m away from home?

Yes! POS Choice Rx Medicare Advantage members can see any doctor who accepts Medicare. Health Alliance members also have access to Assist America ® . This service connects you to prompt medical attention and helps make sure you’re admitted to reliable hospitals when traveling more than 100 miles away from home. With doctors, nurses and emergency medical technicians on staff, help is just a phone call away, 24 hours a day and 365 days a year.

Q: Are virtual visits covered?

Yes! POS Choice Rx virtual health coverage includes the ability to talk to a board certified doctor or counselor by phone or secure video through hally.com, 24/7. You may also connect with your primary care provider or specialist over the phone or online with our telehealth benefit. Access varies by provider. Speak with your provider to determine availability. A copayment may apply.

Q: Do you help pay for over-the-counter items?

Yes! With the POS Choice Rx plan, save money with the new over-the-counter (OTC) supplemental benefit from Health Alliance. This program uses a prepaid card attached to your plan, giving you an allowance of up to $140/year ($35 every three months, with no rollover) for commonly used OTC products.

Q: Does POS Choice Rx have a fitness benefit?

Yes! Get the most out of your fitness activities with Be Fit. You get to choose how you want to work out, and your $360-per-year Flex Card benefit will take care of the payment. Activities include fitness classes, gym memberships, golf, skiing, tennis and more.

Q: How do I make sure I’m getting the most out of my plan?

POS Choice Rx offers many benefits and perks you can use every day. Our care coordination team connects you to a team of providers who work with your doctor to make sure you have the resources you need to stay healthy or work through your medical issues.
